  I gave stars because the day I was there I was having fun with friends thrn i had an emergency. Something was sticking to the back of my mouth and I couldn't stop coughing. I asked the the kitchen staff for a piece of bread. They told me "we don't have bread". I explained why I need it and still "we don't have". My friend took me to McDonald's and they gave me a bun & water that was helpful. I have never been back.

  Rum Diaries - Great Location in Ajax, easy to find, lovely staff and really awesome venue that completely compliments the owners!
  Rum Diaries aspires with high quality dining, comfortable atmosphere.
  The food is absolutely wonderful from preparation to presentation, very pleasing! Top dishes that I highly suggest are, Jerk Chicken Coconut Linguine, Blackened Salmon and my absolute favorite - Caribbean Style Seafood Gumbo!!! This dish is filled with so many flavours complimenting all the seafood...mouth watering Delicious!!!
  I especially enjoyed the special bar drinks the Passion Fruit Mojito and Aged El Dorado 21 year old Rum was really great. Such a variety of Rum Cocktail options to choose from.
  I have celebrated family and friends birthdays at Rum Diaries all along owners and staff were extremely helpful executing all expectations.
  Rum Diaries has designed an amazing menu with a spectacular venue.
  I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended! A must Try!!

  Many thanks for an awesome evening. Our server was very knowledgeable and so kind. We truly enjoyed the food and the drinks were on point with the added cane sugar. Classy place we will be back.

  The food was fine. The service could be better organized. We arrived at 7:45pm, and was told we need to leave by 10:30pm because they had another party coming. The establishment was nearly empty at the time. Found that to be a bit rude. However I would love to go back to give my support, and try out the new patio.
