  The service was excellent (especially from Maureen) who explained the menu in detail (as we have dietary restrictions). The food was amazing!

  Their burger and fries are amazing. You order your burger and get to pick the toppings. They have plenty of choices. The fries are awesome as is the poutine. Excellent service as well.

  I went in at 9:30pm on Saturday, staff didnt seem very interested in helping me at all. The girl who took my order at the cash actually rolled her eyes when I presented her a coupon for buy one burger and get a second one free. Her legs were crossed and she was standing on one foot and just punched in the order without saying two words to me. The body language said pretty much indicated that she really did not want to talk to me.
  
  While my burger was getting dressed, I thought maybe Ill get a different person to put my toppings on, but instead it was her that did it. Same attitude, I put different toppings on my burger than on my wife's. I was very polite and nice and tried to chit chat but she was not having it. I asked her if it was this slow all night and she responded with "so so" with a hand motion and just literally looked right through me. I grabbed my burgers from her when she was done and walked out. Most probably never going to come back. What is the point of south street sending us promo' s and coupons if your establishment lacks basic customer service? I work in customer service and I have never ever looked disinterested or rude to a customer. And you're a franchise, a rather good size one; the least I expect is a proper greeting. I guess from now on, Ill go over to Retro Burger on Harwood and Bayly. Its another 2 min drive, but at least everyone there greets you with a smile and you feel like a paying customer rather than a waste of time.

  Where South Street sets itself apart from competitors like Five Guys is in the toppings. Cajun onions, garlic mayo, guacamole, etc. They also have toppings for the fries (both spices and poutine styles).
  
  The regular burger is 519 calories and the small burger is 289 on a whole wheat bun.
  
  The small fries is 400 calories with 1.5gr saturated fat.

  Just ok.... The combo isn't worth an extra $6...much better burgers elsewhere, & the free coupon means that the combo special doesn't count. Skimpy toppings as well.....
